Wednesday 2 August. Builth Wells.

Today we had a day fine day for our r&r in Builth. We walked around snapping things of interest. The first two photographs show the bridge over the Wye and a life size bronze statue of a champion bull that stands nearby.

The bridge goes North of the town to the permanent site for the Royal  Welsh Agricultural Show.

The traffic down the main street is horrendous! Parking down one side and cars and juggernauts moving up beside them. It must be hard for parents with small children.

There was a beautiful church with an interesting and very large graveyard. Useful for learning common Welsh surnames. It is also interesting how people were known by their occupation. Sadly the church was not open.

A second church however was open and has been converted into an antique shop. Pictures are shown below. Shop is possibly an inadequate description.
